Word 2000 error on startup.

I cannot start Word 2000. Everytime I try to start it gives me the message
that an error has occured and to send it to Microsoft. I have tried Word with
the /a switch and this works.
I have deleted the DATA registry key, renamed the office/startup folder,
tried a repair, uninstalled/reinstalled Word with no help. All other Office
2000 programs run ok.
