word 2000 full screen mode

I have a wierd problem. I have word 2000 in full screen
mode, and my alt menus are disabled, and the floating menu
for disabling fullscreen mode is gone. How do I get out
of this mode?

I can use the cntrl key menus, but that doesnt seem to
help.

any help owuld be greatly appreciated.
