Word 2000 has an illegal operation message when opened.

Hi...

I am not sure what has happened. All of a sudden my MS
Word 2000 will not open and has an illegal operation
window. The details are as follows:

WINWORD caused an invalid page fault in
module WINWORD.EXE at 017f:3005fdb3.
Registers:

What is weird is that MANY of my apps won't open, such as
Print Shop, Print Master, Appleworks, and Inspiration, BUT
Excel 2000, Access 2000, PowerPoint 2000, and FrontPage
2000 will open.

I have put Norton Systemworks through its paces in an
attempt to repair the problem, but no help.

Any suggestions?
