Word 2000 locks up and won't open

I'm having the same problem as "Scary", only I have
Windows ME. Out of the blue Word just locks up, have to
reboot, get "dangerously low on resources" message. Tried
repair and reinstalling. Any suggestions?

"Dangerously low on resources" refers to your computer's system resources. Check your RAM and percent of available resources. Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-clicking System, then select Performance. The size of your RAM affects performance. The lower the available resources, the closer you are to freezing up.
