Word 2000- mail merge to electronic mail -

I am doing a mail merge to electronic mail in word 2000. If I send it through
as an attachment the receiver sees exactly what I sent but if I try to send
it through as an actual email - my formatting and picture (jpeg) disappear.
Does anyone have experience with this.

You would need Word 2002 plus SP2 as a minimum to do that. Even then, I am
not sure if the picture will be retained.
