P

P Robinson

Every time is start my Word 2000, I get an error
"C:\windows\application data\Microsoft\AddIns\C:\PROGRAM
FILES\DRAGON\NATURALLYSPEAKING\PROGRAM\DGNWORD.DLL'
it not a valid Office add-in."

I do not care about the add-inn. I just want the message
to go away.

What do I do?

Hi Peter,

DGNWORD.DLL is a COM add-in for Word which was installed by Dragon
Naturally Speaking. I suspect you recently uninstalled it?

In any event, COM add-ins are added via the Registry rather than the
Startup folders. To find the COM Add-In and remove it you can add the
"COM Add-in" command to your toolbar:

- Right-click any toolbar and select Customize
- On the Commands tab, select the Tools category
- Locate COM Add-Ins on the right
- Drag/Drop to a location of your choice
- Close the Customize Toolbars dialog box and run the COM Add-Ins
command to remove DGNWORD.DLL
