Word 2000 only opens Groupwise

I am running Win XP Pro at work. I have Office 2000 and Groupwise 6 point
something. In Word, when I try to open a document using the "Open" Icon the
programs goes the the Groupwise Library. This is the same as a problem I had
using Excel. That was corrected using this forum.
Thanks for any help you can give.
