I'm copied a collection of line-art objects from Powerpoint into a
Microsoft Picture Object in Word 2000. I had to resize some of the
text boxes to prevent cropping. I then clicked "Reset Picture
Boundary" in the "Edit Picture" floating tool bar to get proper
boundaries. I cannot seem to Select -All on the line art objects in
the Microsoft Picture Object. This is a big problem because it is
unrealistic to individually select all the line art objects simply to
transfer back to Powerpoint for further editing (at a future date).
The only alternative I can think of is to import the Powerpoint
picture as an external file. I certainly don't like that because I
need a separate file for each picture. Furthermore, since the Word
document's figures now depend on external files, it is easy to
inadvertently change the document by editing the external files (or
even losing them in a quick-and-dirty copy). Is there a way to simply
have the line-art objects in a Microsoft Picture object and still be
able to Select-All? Thank you.
