Word 2000 SP1 uninstall?

I've successfully installed OfficeXP, but Word2000 SR-1 is
still on my computer. When I try to uninstall this
application using Control Panel Add/Remove Programs, it
asks for the SR-1 CD, but says it can't find the data1.msi
file. I tried inserting the original Office2000 Premium CD
that I used to install Word, before installing the SR-1
patch, but get the same message. How do I uninstall
Word2000 SR-1?

Never mind -- figured it out after reading KB article
329369 -- but not by following those directions, which the
article says won't work for Installer 2/WinXP (nor are any
suggestions provided for WinXP users!) I found up my old
WorksSuite CD1, which contains the requisite data1.msi
file, and used it in conjunction with Add/Remove Programs
to remove Word2000 SR-1. Worked like a charm, and freed up
over 100MB on my hard drive!
