I imported something from the net, and now my default for 2000

Please help get rid of.

You have NOT imported it from anywhere. It is a standard and very useful
function in Word - since version 2. It does not print and can easily be
toggled by clicking on the paragraph marker icon on one of your toolbars. I
for one cannot work without it as it helps me see exactly how my page is
formatted.

to add to my previous comments. The Paragraph market will also show you how
many spaces between words (a dot), tabulations (an arrow), broken paragraphs
(the 'enter' symbol) and more.

In any case those 'stupid paragraph marks' should NOT be at the end of each
'sentence'. It is, after all, a PARAGRAPH marker - not a sentence marker.
Let your work word wrap and don't hit 'enter' when YOU want to make a new
line. Let the programme do the work for you.

Rhys,

After 5 years or so using the program, and about 2,000 documents, I've
never seen it. Nor my secretary. It appeared when I cut/pasted a
recipe. Thank your helping me get rid of it.
