Word 2000 Template Problem

I have created a from template that includes a table with
calculating formulae. The formulas are dependent upon
variable entries made by the user. The formulae appear to
work correctly if I use 'real' numbers. However, when a
user is using the template and enters the variable number
during the form completion, the formulae will not
calculate.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem? I am using
Office 2000. The template is designed and used in Word
2000 (SP-3).

Sharon,

Double click the form field. Do you have "calculate on exit" checked in the
Form Field Options dialog box? This needs to be checked.
