Word 2000 will not install

Trying to re-install Word 2000 I get the following message after installer
confgures computer.
The feature u r using is on a network resource that is unavailable. It
instructs u to click OK to try again or enter alternate path to a folder
containing the installation package 'WORDRET.MSI' in the box below. The box
below says use feature from C;\CABS\W2k2\. Pressing O.K. brings up another
box which says the path C:\CABS\W2k2|WORDET.MSI cannot be found. Veify you
have acess to this location or try to find the installation package
'WORDRET.MSI' in a folder from which you can install Microsoft Word 2002.

When u cancel this you get the Microsoft Word Activation Wizard. It says
there has been a sgnificant change in your machine configuration. to continue
functioning properly and avoid entry into reduced functionality mode you must
reactivate your product, etc.
I do not have a CD as was already installed on computer.

I have since installed Microsoft Word Suite 2004 but as it has Word 2000 on
it is does the same as above when trying to open Word.

I hope you can help me.
