Word 2000 won't open

Our Word 2000 will not launch and goes non-responding. We have repaired
numerous time and remove/reinstalled numerous times and the program will not
launch. We can't load from start or windows explorer. We must have a
corrupted file (normal.dot or ???) and can't ope the program...HELP !

I just started having the same problem with my Word 2000. We you able to
correct the problem?
