Word 2000 won't open

When I try to open Word, I get an error message: Winword
caused an invalid page fault in module VBE6.DLL at
018f:6504eafl.
I uninstalled and reinstalled it, ran in the safe mode,
ran scandisk and a registry checker to no avail. Can
anyone help? I am using Win98SE as my OS.
Note: I had reinstalled WinFax Pro Ver 10.01 and updated
my Norton 2003 since the last time i used Word.

There is a known conflict between WinFax and the Norton Office Plug-in. Try
disabling the plug-in.
