Hi B.,

How 'old' are the WordPerfect word processing files? Word's Wordperfect converters can recognize WordPerfect 5.x and higher if the
documents are in the default Wordperfect file formats (there is an alternate, 'compound document' format that isn't supported).

If you turn on 'confirm conversions at open' in Word's
Tools=>Options=>General
dialog and then from Word use File=>Open to try to open one of the WordPerfect files, what Wordperfect file format choices are shown
in that confirmation dialog and what result (including error message) do you get when choosing these?

The old converter which (if they are not corrupt) should enable you to open
them is linked from the downloads page of my web site.
