Word 2000 & xp

I created a document in Word 2000 (US English version). It begins with a
three column table. 38 of its cells contain macrobuttons; they serve as an
index. The texts assigned to the buttons are brief. I share this document
with a friend who has Word xp (German version) installed on her computer.
When she opens the document, seven of the 38 macrobuttons have been
disabled, and for the text therein "Anzuzeigende Text" was substituted -
meaning something like 'intended text' or 'text meant to be shown.' All
other parts of the document appear properly, including the remaining
macrobuttons.

I have not the slightest idea why this is happening. Any help would be
greatly appreciated. Gedeon

If there is VBA behind these buttons, it is probably a language
incompatibility. Check this in the appropriate Word VBA newsgroup.
