Word 2000 XPsp2 finding files

When I want to find a file using a word in the contents of a document as a
filter i.e. using Open, Tools, Find, then inserting a word in the contents
box and adding that to the search filters - I get the following message:

"The filters required to perform this search could not be installed. The
search cannot be completed as specified."

I can search using a file name as a filter but not a word in the contents of
a document.

Anyone have any ideas?

I've hated Word's so called search feature for its cumbersome and highly
unintuitive interface. Maybe it's must me.

Why not just use Explorer's search? It's far simpler, I figure.
