Word 2000

I just tried to open Microsoft Word 2000. I am (was) able
to do this, but when I try to open up any of the saved
documents (which I have had no problems opening
previously) I get the message that The system is
dangerously low in resources! I went the the Microsoft
site and tried what it said on
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/ProbsOpeningWord.htm
.....so we did the following:
click Start button in the bottom left of your screen,
select Run, and type winword.exe /a. (You may need to
specify the full path although you probably won't.)

and now we can't even open up Word!!!! Help!!
