One of my users has a problem when creating word documents and reading
previoulsy created word documents. The documents when created or read, appear
corrupted with squares and abnormal characters all over the place. In between
you can see the text. Some documents have squares and question marks all over
the entire document and no text. Basically the text is turned into these
squares. I have reinstalled Word, redone the MS updates etc. I have also
tried using third party tool to recover the document, to no avail. I have
also deleted Normal.dot and recreated it, still no joy.
Is there something else i can try to recover these documents.
if anyone has any idea, please let me know as i am running out of ideas.
