Word 2000

Hi,

I currently have Works Suite 2000 installed. When I run
Word 2000 it opens up fine to the point where you can
begin to type. Within about 10 seconds of opening it
closes right down like it was never started. I've tried
re-installing the whole Works Suite 2000 including Word
2000 but the same problem appears. Any info is
appreciated.

starting Word from the Works Task Launcher, then you might get better advice
in microsoft.public.works.win. If you're running it freestanding, then
you'll do well to uninstall the Microsoft Works Suite Add-in for Word
(through Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs), as it causes numerous
problems with Word when you're using it separate from Works.
