Word 2001 Updater

When I try to run "2001 Updater" it says it cannot find the default
location and refuses to run. Do I need to store the Microsoft Office
Folder somewhere in particular? Is this an important updater to run? I
bought this computer with Microsoft Office on it and just discovered
the updater on the internet.

You don't say what OS you're using, so I'll assume 9.x. The
Microsoft Office folder should be in your Applications (Mac OS 9)
folder.

The 2001 updater is a fairly important one to run if you haven't
