We have Users with Word 2002 and Word 2003. When 2002 users send documents by
E-Mail to Word 2003 users, they cannot open the attached documents. Word
prompts an error message stating that Word cannot read this document, it may
be corrupted. Try to open the document using the "Open and repair" function.
So, the user has to store the document locally and open it with "Open and
repair.." Then word prompts another window "Show repairs" and lists two
errors like "Internal Data Integrity Type 4, 1 and 2" . However, the source
of the error is not clearly marked and it is not traceable what is actually
wrong with the
2002 document. Are there any known incompatibility problems? The support
pages do not mention any of this kind. Any hint would be highly appreciated.
Thanks.
