This isn't exactly an error message problem but I didn't
know what other group to post it in.
I have a newish Dell 5150 laptop with 3.0 GHz P4 processor
with Word 2002 loaded.
When I have a relatively large document open (>15 pages),
the Pentium processor runs at full speed constantly and
doesn't stop. When I check the system resources in Win
XP, it tells me that it's winword.exe that is using up all
the resources and causing the Pentium to run constantly.
What could this be due to and how do I make it stop. I've
tried disabling spell and grammar checks, so it must be
something else.
Thanks,
Bill
