Chris

Upon clicking page setup, Word 2002 crashes. I've tried uninstalling and
reinstalling but nothing has changed.

I'm running XP Professional SP2 with all patches installed on a Dell
Inspiron 700m.

The error sig:
AppName: winword.exe AppVer: 10.0.2627.0 ModName: rc83s100.dll
ModVer: 0.3.0.0 Offset: 0008867e

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try deleting and reinstalling your printer in Start | Control Panel |
Printers.

Hi, I just notice that i have a simular problem with word 2002, although I
get errors 1919 and message error conguring ODBC data source: Excel Files,
ODBC error 13: could not load the setup or translation library. Verify that
file Excel Files exists and that you can access it. This happens when i try
to repair the program from control panel. Do you have any ideas? What does
a printer have to do with word 2002? I hope that doesn't sound dumb?
If you can help, Thanks, Debie

thank you for that link, i had seen it before and could not find it. it
tells me one solution is to install MDAC 2.8 to fix a missing registry
subkey. I did download this and get an error on that as well. So, i am
stuck.

What error might that be? Did you try either or both of the
other two methods mentioned in KB324520?

when i tried to install that fix, I get a message erro: MDAC 2.8 RTM
incompatable with this version of windows all features part of windows. I
even went further and changed the registry sub-keys and that doesn't
work....still at a loose.
