Word 2002 crashes working in Calendar

J

John

When copying and pasteing in word 2002, word crashes and
we get an error: Microsoft Word has encountered a problem
and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

This does not happen at first. We recreate a new calendar
with the calendar wizard and it works fine for a short
while. But eventually, with much copying and pasteing, it
crashes. It will also at times lose its formatting when
pasteing the copy.

The crashing happens every time on whichever desktop we
use. It as if the document becomes corrupt. We have to
start from the very beginning. And it aleways happens some
short time down the road.

Help.

My experience is that Word does become unstable (or at least sluggish) with
repeated pasting, probably because of all the temp files it creates when it
does this. Try
saving frequently and occasionally closing and reopening the doc (which
allows Word to delete the accumulated temp files).
