I have tried ever6y solution in the rep[airing damaged
documents article in the knowledge base. Only this
document does it, and it does it on other computers and
one other printer here at work. I can edit and save the
document, but when I print, or try to manually copy the
whole document, word hangs.. It is a 53 page document
with tables and pictures.
Creating a shortcut to winword.exe on the desktop did not
work, because the run program converts my /a to a
backslash, and I keep getting a message saying that the
document cannot be found. Converting to other formats did
not help. I renamed normal.dot to normal2.dot, but then
when I opened the document, it was in normal style, and it
hung again. Any suggestions?
