WORD 2002 EMAIL MERGE

When I try to do a mail merge using the mail merge wizard
email is not an option under document type. On the mail
merge toolbar send as an email and send as a fax are both
dimmed out. Help?!?

Thanks for trying to help. Unfortunately that article didn't address the problem I have. There is NO option for "send as an email message". And I don't have Outlook 2002, I have Outlook Express which doesn't have a "mail merge" option under "tools". Thanks anyway. Anyone else have an idea?
