Word 2002 Error!!

Hello,

I have just installed Office XP(2002). I am running XP SP2. Well, when I am
running Word 2002 and am working on a document, all of a sudden the monitor
loses its signal input.
It just shuts off, but the computer itself remains on. Its like Word crashes
my monitor.
I have to reboot my computer to get the monitor to work again.

Very strange indeed.

Any assistance would be great

Have you checked the Power settings in Control Panel?
There's a setting for monitor.

i dont think it would be that setting. The monitor switches off, when I am
working on a document. The computer freezes, then the monitor goes black.
Weird

i downloaded office sp3 and everything seems to be working fine now.
