Word 2002 Freezes after upgrading from 2000

I just upgraded from Office 2000 Professional to Office
2002 Profesional. When I open Word it freezes. All my
other applications work fine. Does anyone have any
suggestions?

Search for and rename normal.dot file and rename it to
oldnormal.dot

Make sure word is closed first
