Search your HDD for normal.dot. How many do you have? There should only be
one in your user profile: usually this is in Documents and Settings,
Username, Application Data, Microsoft, Templates. If there are other
normal.dots on your computer, rename them as normal.bad (unless they are in
someone else's profile). Does that resolve the problem?
