Word 2002 Macro pop-up message

G

goldhammer

Suddenly each time I open Word and with each document, a window pops up that
says: "The function you are trying to run contains macros or content that
requires macro language support...etc." Problem is I have not altered or
changed anything in the program and it has been working perfectly for over a
year.

Help!
Thanks!

This is probably a result of a security update changing a setting. In
Word, go to Tools > Macro > Security. On the first tab, set the level
to Medium. Click the second tab and check the box for "Trust all
installed add-ins and templates". Then shut down and restart Word, and
the message should not appear.
