I create user guides and use a lot of screen prints. I
recently upgraded to XP and now I am having a problem
with the inserting pictures. I have tried 2 methods.
The first (which I prefer) is to insert a Word Picture
object and paste the screen print in that. In 97 you
could adjust size, cropping etc and then click the "reset
boundary". Now when I resize the picture, XP cuts half
of my picture off (only in edit object window) and reset
boundary does nothing. This makes it very hard to crop.
It is tedious to try to use the crop dialog box to
accomplish this.
Second method is simple paste. However, when I select
the picture, Word isn't showing the resizing handles so
cropping is difficult and tedious. This happens also in
the first method when selecting the picture in the
document.
Has anyone experienced these issues in 2002? If so, what
can I do?
Thanks
