Word 2002 v Pocket Word v3.01

I have a Jornada680 which uses MS Windows for Handheld PC
2000 and Pocket Word v3.01.
we have recently upgraded system to Windows XP and Office
2002. Now handheld can open previous Word documents but
not new Word 2002 documents. Is there a compatibility
issue or a spec issue here? Are the 2 Word products
incompatible?
