Word 2002 XP "anchoring" text and image?

Creating documentation with screen shots on multiple pages.

How do I keep the text and image inplace on the same page when I revert back
to a previous page and insert more text and/or screenshoot image?

I have tried various drawing methods but with little success. I am sure it
is something I am overlooking.
