If I use the print dialog box and set the number of copies to anything higher
than 1, that number stays there, even if I print another item with only 1
copy.
If I'm working on any document and click on the print item, Word prints that
higher number of copies. The only way to cur it is to reboot?

This is probably a problem with your printer driver. Do you have the most up
to date one? If not, go to the printer manufacturer's website and see if
there is an updated version.

I have an identical problem with one of our networked printers (a large
workgroup colour copier/printer): but it is definitely the printer driver
that is at fault because none of the other networked laser or InkJet
printers exhibit this problem.

Ummm...I take it this question has nothing to do with the original
person's post regarding activeX controls and you just jumped into a
previous thread with a new question????

You should post all new questions to a new post to start a separate
thread to avoid confusion!
