WORD 2002

I have used WORD for many years and ran into a blind alley with the problem
when i click on WORD. I always get the "Print Layout" with the Maxime in the
window layout. I would like to get NORMAL with Minimum when i open. It never
happens and i have tried every combination that i know. It use to be when i
would close in a certain format it would appear at the next oppening, but
this don't happen. If you click on NEW (new document) you have a whole list
of selections and i have tried all of these. Is there a location in TOOLS,
Customs, Options, that i could change? Or know where this Normal is located?
Also, many times when Word closes there is an error message and asks if you
want to report it. I have a bonified copy of word and it sounds like
something in the System is "thinking" otherwise. Is this the way Bill Gates
plays the game - wants to suck your blood. I know that i have a problem but
don't know what to do.

For starters, see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/SaveViewAndZoom.htm, but
note that Word 2002 and 2003 are not as dependable as previous versions
about opening in a specific view; sometimes a macro is required to force
this.

I'm not sure what you mean by Maximum and Minimum; if you want Word to start
minimized, you can set this in the Properties of the shortcut used to start
Word.
