Word 2003 accesses Internet on startup

ZoneAlarm prompts me to access the Internet when I run Word - why is word
accessing the Internet on startup and how do I stop it? If I tell ZoneAlarm
to deny access, there is a 30-second delay every time I start Word, so I
need to solve the problem in Word. I have already disabled the Norton
Antivirus Office plugin. I have already tried deleting normal.dot.

Turn Microsoft Office Online featured links on or off

Microsoft Office Online featured links are your source of up-to-date
information from Microsoft Office Online that will help you increase your
productivity with Office and provide you with the answers to questions
frequently asked about Office. Microsoft is constantly responding to
customer feedback, and these featured links are the best way to get new and
updated information about Office from within your Office program. These
links appear on the Getting Started and the <Program Name> Help task panes
(task pane: A window within an Office application that provides commonly
used commands. Its location and small size allow you to use these commands
while still working on your files.). Your Office program will only access
information from Microsoft Office Online when you are connected to the
Internet (Internet: A worldwide network of thousands of smaller computer
networks and millions of commercial, educational, government, and personal
computers. The Internet is like an electronic city with virtual libraries,
stores, art galleries, and so on.).
On the Help menu, click Microsoft <Program Name> Help to display the
<Program Name> Help task pane (task pane: A window within an Office
application that provides commonly used commands. Its location and small
size allow you to use these commands while still working on your files.).

Under See also in the task pane, click Online Content Settings.

In the Service Options dialog box, select or clear the Show Microsoft Office
Online featured links check box.

The Show content and links from Microsoft Office Online check box must be
selected before you can select the Show Microsoft Office Online featured
links check box.

Notes
This setting applies to all of your Office programs.
The display of Microsoft Office Online featured links will not change in any
Office program that is open until you close the program and then start it
again.

Thank you thank you. The online content was already unchecked. It was that
shared workspace stuff, which I had never even heard of before.
