Word 2003 adding folders to My Documents

I frequently get these folders added: My Music, My SQL. I'd like to know
how to keep that from happening. I've had to delete these unwanted folders
so many times! Thanks

What on earth makes you think that Word adds these folders?

These are WINDOWS folders and are 'ring-fenced'. You cannot just delete
them.

Well, Terry, they only began to appear about six months ago. I've used Word
2003 and Windows XP since 2003, so I don't know what happened to make these
to begin to appear. I do not know what 'ring-fenced' means. Why were they
not there for the first 36 months and why have they suddenly appeared?

Well since the inception of Windows 2003, certain system folders are
ring-fenced meaning that ordinary users are unable to delete them. If they
do delete them, Windows simply reinstates them on next restart.

(My) Music, Pictures and Documents are now 'system' folders and cannot be
deleted. I expect that they may have been empty and you had System Files and
Folders hidden, so you never saw them.

But be assured that Word never creates its own folders.
