Word 2003 and other 2003 office products

During testing of these products I have encountered the
problem that once you save a document and close and then
try to open it again you get the message "THE xxxx.doc is
unavailable. You can create a blank document and import
the document but you can't open it once saved.

Also starting getting the normal.dot or global.dot has
been modified or changed do you want to save. Have
reinstalled. reformated hard drives during testing and
this is getting to be very hard to use word 2003.

Hi Gary,

This is a symptom of a bug in Norton AV. Their "Office Plug-in" option
is a little too aggressive. :) Disable the option in Norton Options
in the Miscellaneous section and both problems should be resolved.
