Hi everyone.
I work for two schools in South Australia and at present am developing an
image for both schools to use on the computers.
I have installed both Office 2003 and Student 2006. Now any time I start
Word up, I get the following error box about 5 times in a row:
"The function you are attempting to run contains macros or content which
requires macro language support. When the software was installed, you (or
your administrator) chose not to install support for macros or controls."
It has something to do with the additions to Word that Student 2006 installs.
I have tried setting the macro security to low and I have tried deleting the
normal.dot. Office is installed fully to the hard disk except for Alternative
User Input which should not be causing this error.
I have a feeling that it could be a group policy which I have enabled or
disabled, but I have looked through them all to no avail.
Can anyone at least point me in the right direction on how to solve this? It
is very very frustrating as this is the last week of school and I need to get
this image deployed for next year.
Thanks in advance,
Neil.
