Word 2003 Auto-Text Disappears

I have created two auto-text entries in a document. I have e-mailed the
document to a couple of people for testing. One person had no problems with
the auto-text, however, the other person does not have the auto-text entries.
I have sent him several copies and even brought a copy on my flashdrive to no
avail.

We are using the same version of Word. Any suggestions on how to correct?

AutoText can be stored only in template (*.dot) files, not in document (*.doc)
files. So unless you're sending out the template that contains the entries, the
recipients won't see them.

I understand that. However, that doesn't explain why one user could see the
additional auto-text entries and the other can't. Suggestions?

The other use has, or has had, access to the template that contains them.

That is not possible as I created them on my computer. They have not been
used or generated prior to my sending the document to her.
