Word 2003 autoinsert date should work as advertized

Before installation of IE7, you could do what the help file says (type first
four letters of month, press [Enter], type [Space], press [Enter]) to
automatically insert the current date in Word 2003. Since the install, if
you let Word autocomplete the month, then type a space, no suggestion comes
up to autocomplete the rest of the date. You have to manually type the whole
month for the autocomplete to kick in the date. Tried installing all Office
updates, to fix. No help. It's only a few more keystrokes, but it's really
irritating to have to adjust to. Please fix.

This has been an ongoing issue with dates for some time now. The way I
found to make it work is after the month is completed, press the
backspace to delete the space after the month and press the space bar
again.
