I just 'updated' from Office 2000 to 2003. Word 2000 obeyed an AddressLayout
Autotext entry when using the insert from inserting an address from Address
book button in the Envelopes and Labels dialog box. I am surprised to find
that Word 2003 does not.
I am even more surprised to find that this was a known bug in Word 2002: see
KB article Q292127 dated 5/5/2001 (yes - 2001) which acknowledges that
"Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in" Word 2002.
Does anyone know why MS chose not to fix this? I use this feature of Word
2000 virtually daily. The bug makes it useless. The work-around offered in
the nearly 3 year old KB article is a PITA!
