Word 2003 Bullets print as different characters

I have a client that has Office 2003. When he creates a document
using bullets it looks correct in the document as well as in print
preview. When he tries to print this the bullet symbols come out
looking like Greek lettering. THis happens on whatever printer he
prints it to. We have tried it on several printers in the
organization with the same result.
