Word 2003 Can't find Proofing tools etc

When checking my document for spelling errors etc. Word gives me a dialogue
box beginning with the information 'Can't find proofing tools. If you have
the proofing tools try installing them...'
I have tried to reinstall, fixed and repaired etc but to no avail.
The Proofing Tools are on the Office Disc and are checked as normal to be on
the PC hard drive as expected when going though Add/Remove programs etc. but
this does not get Word using them.

How do I get Word to find them?

Is the language of the text you're trying to spell check set to the one for
which you have the proofing tools?

The language of the computer is set to English UK. The language set for Word
is also set to English (UK).
This fault only comes up if you select Tools/Spelling and Grammar.

Thank you,

The message could show up with just one word marked as being in a different
language. Does it happen all the time or just in one document? Do you get
words marked as misspelt without explicitly doing a spell check (red wavy
underlined)?

All words are Eng (UK) and it happens in all Word docs.

I have just reformated the hard drive and reloaded the OS and reinstalled
Office 2003 and the problem has been fixed.
