Hi Joost

We have experienced this same problem before a number of times.
What the problem was we found turned out to be HARDWARE issues.
If after your drive has been defragged and you know there is no virus or
other malicious codes on your system by running a good anti-virus and
something like the Microsoft Ant-Spyware program. Then we need to look at
your system memory for possible bad address in the modules.
Or it could be in your video memory card.
If that is ok, then we look at your hard drive for crc errors on it.
If that is ok then we look at your cpu.
You can start by reseating all your pieces.
Take out your memory modules and re-insert, same with video card and any
other pci cards you may have.

Hi wabbyt

tnx for the answer. i know i have no spyware or virus on my pc. i scanned
with norton antivirus 2005, ad-aware, spybot and microsoft antispyware. i
also defragged my hd, and that didn't have any affect. i cannot open my
computercase, because my warranty will expire when i do so(they put labels
on the case to check if it was not opened. furter i don't know what crc
errors are, and i don't know how i check the system memory for possible bad
adresses in the modules.

- so my next questions are. why should i re-insert my vidcard, mem., and
cpu, while i've never even touched anything in the case?
- how can i check my system emory for possible bad adresses in the modules?
- and what are crc errors on my hd, and how do i fix them?
- and if there's another problem that might be the case, please tell me.
i'll try anything
- is it possible, that a switchback to office xp should solve the problem?

thanks for you answer

Joost

Download the utility SiSoft Sandra from the Internet (you'll find it at
www.download.com and loads of other sites). This utility will run some
comprehensive tests to see if you have a hardware related problem.

after extensive research on the net i found out the answer to my question
were actually very simple. my network drivers for my printers where the
cause., so i turned my default printer to microsoft fax, or something like
that and now it works:)
