Word 2003 crash under Windows Vista Home Premium Edition

I'm using Word 2003 SP2 (Italian version) under Windows Vista (Italian
version, preinstalled on a new laptop) and, most of the time, every time I
try to open some Word documents (written by me on another PC) the application
crashes.
I tried opening such documents on a Windows XP system and the problem
doesn't arise.

The following error message is provided by Windows (I've tried to translate
Italian labels in English, sorry for possible errors)

This is a problem with the Italian Grammar dll. Although we don't usually
support the Italian version here, we have heard that there have been many
problems with the Italian proofing tools. I would have thought that if you
run Office 2003 update on line, it should download a patch for this.
Otherwise, try the Italian newsgroup or even the Microsoft Italian support
site for Office.

The problem is that I've run Office 2003 update online (Windows update
doesn't show any more update to install) before asking here in this newgroup,
but Word still crashes.
However I'll try to have a look in the Italian newsgroup.

Thanks for the support
