Word 2003 crash when 2 docs are minimized then maximized

When I have two seperate word docs open and for whatever reason minimize each
of them to go do something else Word will crash when I attemopt to maximize
them again. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a patch or fix?

oh thanks so much! I have my fingers crossed this has been happening to me
for over 6 months and it's so frustrating... my IT people wanted to reimage
my machine and I KNEW that was NOT the problem (b/c it happened on another pc
too).

This is the old handwriting Recognition bug. Run Office Setup, Advanced
Options, Alternative Inputs and select Handwriting Recognition, click OK and
Setup will remove the utility. Word will now work correctly again.

It is safe to reinstall the Handwriting Recognition (reverse of above) and
it is unlikely to happen again.
