Word 2003 crashes in Windows 2000

Hi.
I just loaded Office 2003 in my Win 2000 OS.
Every single time word crashes and all its windows are closed when I am
working back and forth with more than one window.
Is it just that it doesn't work with Win 2000?
Help is most appreciated.

This sounds like the bug with Handwriting Recognition. Run Office Setup
(from the Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs) and under Advanced settings
you will find Alternative Inputs. Clear the Handwriting Recognition option
and click OK. Setup will remove the component and all should be OK again.
