Word 2003 Crashing

I have a clean install of Word 2003 i.e. not on top of an XP or earlier Word
version.

Whenever I open a new Word document then go Format->Font I get the 'Word has
detected an error' window,

I have renamed Normal.dot, run detect and repair etc.

Any thoughts, please?

wherever it appears in the article select 11.0 on your
computer

Problems with the Font, Style, Paragraph, Symbol, Page Setup, or Print
dialog usually suggest a damaged printer driver. Try deleting and
reinstalling the printer.
